Here I was looking forward to getting i5 6400 or i3 61000 but you decide to leak the kaby lake spec of i3 7350k which is more powerful than the mentioned cpus. Veteran you should probably hold of because there for the kaby lake range.

i3 61000 is what i'm using right now and it caused no problems for me, it runs perfectly anything i want (within my buying limit xd), and i love it so far.

Some i3 processors are even better then some i5.

As someone refreshed this topic, I did a few changes with my new setup:

Intel Core i5-6600K, 3.5GHz
MSI Z170A TOMAHAWK, Z170
SilentiumPC Supremo M2 Gold 550W
SilentiumPC Gladius M35
Corsair Vengeance LPX, DDR4, 16GB(2x8GB)3000MHz
CPU SilentiumPC Grandis 2
Palit GeForce GTX 1080 GameRock 8GB

I should get this in two days :P

well 4 physical cores is better used in CPU intensive games like GTA. However the 6100 is very strong and according to youtube it can run any game at around 60fps atm

also i3 7350k is unlocked for overclocking and already clocked at 4.0/4.2 jigga hurtz

I guess I'll just wait for prices to drop while I'm saving

It could be worth waiting to see what AMD has to offer as well. They're expected to release their Zen CPUs early January, and they're supposed to be a complete overhaul to their CPU range to compete closely with Intel. It might be interesting to see.

I would get a 1080, but the price tag is faaaaar too extreme. 1070 is gonna be achieved later this year (around Christmas) so with any luck I can kick Fenrir's ass at BF1 in 1440p as opposed to the normal 1080 :D :dev: :dev:

Rumour has it will compete with the Haswell architecture on price vs performance but lets wait and see. Presentation due on 13/12. It would be really cool if they could stop the Intel dominance because their pricing is getting ridiculous.
